Powertrekk, Charge your Mobile Device with Water

Powertrekk Hydrogen Fuel Cell Charger could replace Battery.

Two things: One of them is “Sodium Silicide” (Sodium metal + Silicon powder = Sodium Silicide). Michigan State University made it and patented by SiGNa Chemistry Inc. Sodium, in open air, OMG... but Sodium Silicide is safe to handle in open air and exhibits a unique property: when exposed to water, Sodium Silicide generates hydrogen.

Another one is FuelCellSticker, has developed by myFC (my Fuel Cell, Swedish based company). It is a thin lightweight fuel cell, portable. It can enhance power density. So,in conjunction with FuelCellSticker, Sodium Silicide developed a portable substitute to traditional batteries, named PowerTrekk.

Users have to buy disk-shaped PowerPukks fuel cell charger, which contains Sodium Silicide as fuel. It is reusable. First take PowerPukk to fits inside the PowerTrekk. And then just add a tablespoon of water(dirty, clean, salty, whatever it is, it doesn’t matter), and then you are ready to charge cell phones, tablet computers and other small electronic devices via USB. It can generates energy equivalent to about 4 AA batteries and will be cheaper than a 4 pack AA batteries.

How to create Facebook ID Card

You can create your Fcebook ID Card through one of the social networking site Facebook. Follow the following steps:

Step01: Put the following link into your browser (Firefox, IE, Chrome, Safari etc) address bar.
.Link:.  http://apps.facebook.com/fb_id_card

Step02: Type your Facebook Log in credentials. Then press  Log In

Step03: See what will appear in your ID Card. Then press  Log In

Step04: Then press  Allow

Step05: Here is your ID Card with profile picture. Your can use it in your fb profile.

NOTE: If you do no want to appear your birth year in your ID card, before doing this, go to your fb profile setting and hide your birth year. Have fun.

IBM Logo Evolution & History

A company’s hallmark of its logo. The work and execution strategy of a company has been changed day by day. When an enormous change is needed, their strategy to introduce themselves to the mass people by changing their branding motif, they have changed their hallmark more or less.

International Business Machines Corporation

In 1911. The International Time Recording Company (ITR) and the Computing Scale Company (CSC) merged and they became appears as Computing-Tabulating-Recording Company (CTR). After few years later, when their business was booming, which made the company’s logo too restricted, and they formally changed their name to International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) in 1924 (14 Feb) and adapting the globe version of the IBM logo. When the globe shape IBM logo failed to retain their caring image, the company changed its IBM logo to the newly adapted font Beton Bold and previous glove was altered to the simple lettering of IBM in 1947. In May 1956, Tom Watson Jr. took over the company as CEO after his father passed away and in steps to exemplify the new management and technological era, he hired the famous graphics designer Paul Rand, who replaced outline shaped logo by a more solid, grounded IBM logo, font City Medium.

In 1972, Paul Rand introduced a new version of IBM logo, solid letters were replaced by horizontal strips, which is representing Speed & Dynamism and  rendering an even corporate image and goodwill.
